Arc Herkimer is excited to welcome a Line Cook to the Tin Cup Tavern at the MV Golf & Event Center! If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, love creating great food, and enjoy being part of a fun, supportive team—this is your moment. As a Line Cook, you’ll team up with our Head Chef to bring delicious dishes to life while keeping the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently.
What We Offer:
Part-time; $19/hour
20–24 hours per week (flexible schedule, including weekends)
What You’ll Do:
Set up and stock food items and kitchen supplies
Prep ingredients—chop, mix, portion, season, and marinate
Cook menu items using a variety of methods (grill, sauté, fry, broil)
Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and more to recipe standards
Keep kitchen areas clean, sanitized, and organized
Perform inventory checks and maintain food storage logs
Learn and execute recipes with consistency and quality
Communicate effectively with kitchen team and front-of-house staff
Plate and garnish dishes to presentation standards
Maintain proper portion sizes and follow kitchen procedures
Keep stations stocked and ready for a smooth service
Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen upkeep
Jump in wherever needed to support the team
What You Bring:
High School Diploma/GED preferred
At least 1 year of food service experience preferred
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
