We are seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who is passionate about making a difference and has the expertise to lead the financial strategy of a dynamic, multi-faceted agency.
As our CFO, you will lead all aspects of the agency’s financial operations and financial data, reporting directly to the Executive Vice President – Business Operations. You will oversee a strong team and ensure financial practices that uphold transparency, accuracy, and compliance, while helping shape strategic decisions across the agency.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration (with a finance emphasis)
- Minimum of five (5) years management experience in financial arena
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, vision, and oversight for all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, purchasing, payroll, audits, and compliance.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing Finance team, fostering professional development and collaboration.
- Coordinate and prepare the agency’s annual operating budget.
- Analyze financial data and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee all internal and external audits and ensure readiness.
- Monitor cash flow, internal controls, fixed assets, and compliance with nonprofit financial standards.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for the Board of Directors and Finance Committee.
- Support HUD financial activities, rate review functions, and program-level financial management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, trends, and financial best practices.
- Serve as a financial advisor to leadership, helping secure funding opportunities and optimize revenue streams.
Salary
Starting at $150,000 a year with potential for a higher rate depending on experience.
