Production Support Specialist
Full Time: Production Support Specialist (PSS)
Do you want the opportunity to create and package life-saving equipment, sustainable goods, food/drink, sensory apparel, and law enforcement uniforms? Arc Herkimer wants you to lead production workers through various projects!
PSS starting rate is $15.25- $18.25/hr.
18+ years old, with agency-approvable driver’s license. Opportunities for pay increase based on education.
- High school diploma or GED not required.
- One year experience with sewing, custodial, or production experience -OR- one year experience working with individuals with disabilities
You will have the chance to see consumer goods through production, while enhancing skills and enriching lives for industrial workers.
- Lead inclusive workforce in a manufacturing and industrial setting
- Use hands-on approaches to train, motivate, and supervise teams
- Manage a variety of exciting contract projects and commodities productions
- Ensure efficiency, quality standards, and maintenance of equipment
- Empower teams by teaching methods of work simplification and quality assurance
- Check progress and workmanship of employees
