Do you take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces? Are you someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and being part of a team? Arc Herkimer is looking for a dependable and hardworking Custodian to join the team at the beautiful MV Golf & Event Center!
This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for guests, staff, and visitors throughout the clubhouse and event spaces.

What You’ll Do

Complete work orders and maintenance tasks based on priority
Perform interior and exterior cleaning throughout the clubhouse and Event Center
Assist with deep cleaning of floors, carpets, walls, windows, bathrooms, appliances, and common areas
Vacuum, sweep, clean tables, and maintain indoor and outdoor spaces
Help maintain walkways by removing leaves and debris
Perform interior and exterior painting as needed
Move and arrange furniture for events and daily operations
Identify and report safety concerns or maintenance issues
Work closely with management and staff to ensure facilities remain clean and inviting
Support additional facility and seasonal projects as assigned

Basic knowledge of custodial tools, cleaning techniques, and facility maintenance
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Flexibility with scheduling as needed

The employee is required to be able to physically intervene with an individual when necessary using approved S.C.I.P. techniques.
